For Lever or Pedal Harp
Bavarian Traditional
Arr. by J. Lanier
The tune to this arrangement was inspired by a trip my husband and I recently took to Leavenworth, WA. Nestled in the North Cascades, Leavenworth is a charming town modeled after a Bavarian village. We stayed at the Enzian Inn and each morning one of the owners/builders of the hotel would provide morning serenades of mountain songs on his alphorn. I loved the Bavarian songs I heard throughout the village and was inspired to arrange one for harp.
This 6-page arrangement in the key of G Major has some extra Mozart-like transitions/counter melodies and requires no lever or pedal changes. There are some right hand harmonics on B and C.
